Visual C++ 2008 Installed, but XAMPP says it is not.
Posted: 07. August 2014 14:02Today I just installed XAMPP 1.8.3-4 on my Windows 8 computer. When I run the Control Panel (v3.2.1), it says:
However, my computer says that the following are installed:
I followed the Microsoft link, downloaded the installer, and ran it. I ran "Repair" just in case that was the problem.
Any idea why XAMPP doesn't think that it is installed?
