Help on Copy/Migrate Xampp folder to Another PC????

Hi,

Version details:
ApacheFriends XAMPP Version 1.8.3 (xampp-win32-1.8.3-4-VC11.zip)
mediawiki-1.23.1 (folder: xampp\htdocs\mediawiki-1.23.1)

Created several pages and the xampp-control is working fine without any issues in my pc which is running under Windows 7 32 bit Edition

When i copied the entire xampp folder to another pc and apache, mysql server is not running when i clicked xampp-control.exe as i did in my pc

The xampp which i am using in my pc is not an installation one but just a zip folder.

Could someone help me in detail on how to copy and make it work or migrate from one pc to another?

Hi,

Did you execute the setup_xampp.bat script after copying?
We need as much log messages as possible so please provide us the information of your control panel log window and your apache and mysql error log files.

I will capture all the logs and will send you. Sorry for not attaching the same in the first time.

i have executed setup_xampp.bat and apache started successfully with Green colour. MySQL still shows start label and with red colour. But the application is accessible with the UI. It seems something forbids to change the label as well as the colour and the log doesn't shows any error or issues. Do you have any checklist for this issue or it is a known bug?
