Hi there guys, I've been trying to get XAMPP (pHpMyAdmin) to work I've uninstalled and reinstalled but just won't work, It's giving me the following error.

Error

SET CHARACTER SET 'utf8mb4';

#1115 - Unknown character set: 'utf8mb4'

Hi,

The error suggests that you are trying to connect to an old MySQL version with a new phpmyadmin version.
So, did you try to overinstall a new XAMPP version on top of an old one?
