Mysql security error!

Hey guys!

Letting u know when I managed to install xampp and changed all the required passwords! It DOSE NOT WORK! Anyone from outside could access myphpadmin from web!

The MySQL admin user root has no longer no password SECURE
PhpMyAdmin password login is enabled. SECURE

The above is not working correctly it did not change password or set one in that fact!
