I run xampp-win32-1.7.3 on windows 7, while it was about to finish downloading an error message "Unexpected end of archive" pop up. The programs terminated. How can i fix this error.

Sounds like your download was interrupted. Delete that and redownload. If it happens again, your antivirus may be interfering.
