Problem port 80 Wan ip give download Octet-Stream
Posted: 11. April 2014 14:14Hi, i'm new to server I would like tu publish a webage. Here is my problem:
I installed Xampp on my computer
Windows 7 ultimate
Router D-link DIR-825 with DD-WRT
Windows Firewall disabled, no anti-virus
Port 80 can be used with my internet provider
Port 80 and 443 are forwarded to my computer's/server IP on my router
I do have a domain name with namecheap.com that use their DDNS feature. So when I type my domain name, it's redirecting to my Wan ip.
After the Xampp installation, I can access the xampp default page with localhost,but when I try to access it outside my network (at a friend's house or with my cellphone) with my Wan ip address. I get a download Octet-Stream with Chrome navigator and a blank page with iE. I can't access the index page. If I use HTTPS, it work.
