I am a beginner but have used Xampp about 3 years ago with no problem. I used it to create a website using Wordpress, but then I no longer needed site so deleted everything. Well I now want to start again but this time I cannot get Xampp to work. I am using Win 7, and it installs but when I click on My SQL and onto Admin the browser (Firefox) returns Unable to connect.

Nope. At the bottom of that window, it says the entire log window contents.

The log is looking good so obviously this is not enough information to analyse your problem remotely.
