Hello,

I have installed the following:

* Xampp 1.8.3
* Joomla 3.2.1 BitNami-packaged application

I'm using windows 8

Joomla is installed in C:\xampp\apps\joomla

I have made a page in joomla.

I can access it with localhost/joomla or mydomain.nl/joomla. So far so good

I want to change the name "joomla" in something else e.g.. pizzahut. So that people can access my site with mydomain.nl/pizzahut.

I tried to rename the map "joomla" into "pizzahut" and that did not work.

How do I rename my site name ?

You cannot rename the installation directory after installation. If you want to run Joomla with another name, you must create the directory "pizzahut" first and install Joomla there. If Bitnami does not support different directory name, forget about bitnami and install Joomla on yourself.
