Only 1 Access every 30 seconds

Hello,

Please bear with me, I am totally new to this. Here's my situation: I have a board that is sending several http GET requests to the Apache webserver running on my computer. Unfortunately, if I look at the access files, I can only see one such request from my board to my computer every 30 seconds. The board itself is sending a lot of requests so it seems that something blocks more requests for the next 30 seconds. How can I change that so it accepts a mostly unlimited amount of accesses each second?
