Problem with database transfer after PC crash

I have 2 problems:

On my old PC Win 7 pro 64 machine, I had XAMPP v 1.7.7 installation with approx 200 databases. PC crashed so I was unable to do proper DB export
Now I have new Win 8.1 pro 64 machine and I'm trying to restore my webs from old disk into new 1.8.2 Xampp installation

Is it possible to import old mysql data into new XAMPP installation?
Folder stricture is the same, and I still have access to all xampp files on old disk

At 1st - I tried to just copy data folders from mysql folder into new one, but webs doesn't work because I didn't copied mysql files from data folder root, just data website named folders.

Than I copied (synced with total commander) all files from old data folder root, and now websites work,
but because it over-writed files in new data root folder Im guessing that some some tables from new xampp version might be lost.

So I tried to do xampp reinstall but it doesn't wont to proceed, it says Xampp directory is not empty.

What would be the best way to transfer just my websites mysql data into new xampp environment?

I know, that there is an option to import Databases from another server in phpMyAdmin..
But I never had to use it

Why don't you first rebuild your XAMPP 1.7.7 on your new OS? This would be much less trouble and you can do proper database exports.

Difficult to say, we don't know your databases. MyISAM is quite easy to restore, there are three files that define a whole database. InnoDB could make much more trouble.
So, copying your own Database folders (NOT folders like mysql, information_schema, etc) into the new MySQL data folder can maybe be successful, but don't have to. A clean database export is always preferable.

Then do a full uninstall first (if needed delete fragments of the xampp folder at the end by yourself).

First have a running environment again (XAMPP 1.7.7) then install the current XAMPP version side by side. Do clean database dumps and restore them in your new environment.

A function that can restore whole databases from just the source folders? I don't think that such a function exists.
You can import dump files like .sql or .csv, or make use of replication functionality if you have two running MySQL servers.
But none of them will fit for this problem here.
