Bug? New Install of 1.8.0 on Windows 2003 Server R2

Sorry to post here, but closest I could find.

1) New install on e;/USB drive

E:\XAMPP

2) I went to http://localhost and all was fine....

3) Again, fresh Install and nothing reside in: E:\xampp\htdocs

4) OK, I can browse to "so far" any site I need to externally, but I have a domain name of

windows2003support.com (and there is NO LIVE SITE) on the internet, in fact I think I might have it at Sedo for sale

5) I type in the above? And it shows up http://windows2003support.com/xampp/ in Firefox and Chrome..

What is happening please, why this is not trying to find it on the internet?

Empty = E:\xampp\htdocs as far as any sites

The contents of your Windows HOSTS file, DNS or proxy auto config script should give you the answer.

windows2003 = Not in Host file C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc

So, I then tried c:\ cir DNS /s /p

Nothing..no files..

Where do I look for these please? e drive?
