Xampp starts, php won't work

My Xampp starts, Apache runs as well, but php code won't work.

C:/xampp/htdocs/index.php says "Something is wrong with the XAMPP installation "

I'm running Windows 7 home premium, and Xampp control panel 3.2.1

I'm stuck.
