SQL stops working after a day or two?

I use the SQL for a database to hold times from a game that uses a timer. I start SQL everytime I start the game. After a day or two, the SQL stops starting and I get an error, saying it may be a blocked port, missing dependencies and some other stuff. I usually reinstall xampp and I lose all the times i have stored on the database. It's getting tiring having to reinstall xampp over and over.
