Okay, so I'm really new to Xampp and I'm trying to change how it directs me. When I type in the address, I get redirected to: "localhost/xampp", I want it to direct me to joomla when I enter "localhost" and I dont want want "localhost/joomla", I just want "localhost".

The recommend way are virtual hosts, explained for example at the end of my post here viewtopic.php?f=16&t=55035&p=208542#p208542
