Hi Kundan,

which answer do you expect from your request?
We don't have really much information about how you have installed XAMPP and which actions you have done since then.
"not working" is a really bad error report. Do you get any messages or entries in your log files?
You even haven't filled out your operating system field in your profile correct.

The only answer i can give you with that base of information is: By default the username is root and the password is not set, so it's empty.
If you have changed this, you should know to what value you have set the password.

best wishes,
Altrea

After installing XAMPP the first time you should not get any login form, because the default login method is set to config.

After a fresh install of XAMPP http://localhost/phpmyadmin/ should not give you a login window but log you in automatically.
So the question is: Why do you get a login window.

If you start the control panel, which log messages do you get in its log window?

We need ALL line of the control panel, not just this little excerpt.
You can simply copy them out of your \xampp\xampp-control.log file

That few lines are not enough information.
Are you not willing or not able to present the full content of the log?

The log window is a text field. You can either select all messages with CTRL+A (after you have onced clicked on the textfield) and after that copy it to your clipboard with CTRL+C (and paste it here with CTRL+V)
or you can (after you have quit the control panel) copy it's content from the \xampp\xampp-control.log file.

WIthout this information nobody here will be able to help you.

The first line of the log is something like " [main] Initializing Control Panel" and after that all lines you get.

Okay, so the first thing you should do is start your control panel with elevated administrator rights (rightclick the control-panel exe and choose "run as Administrator")
That way your control panel should be able to identify the services already running on the needed ports.

My guess: There is already a different Apache and MySQL started. That would explain why you get the login form and why you cannot log in there.
