I installed XAMPP on windows 7 machine,and after installing when i clicked on start Apache in XAMPP control panel so it's showing the error,while the other's are running properly.

Port number 443 is already used by VMWARE, that's why Apache won't start. Search for "Listen 443" in httpd-ssl.conf file located in "xampp\apache\conf\extra" and modify the port number.
