Installing and saving the Moodle files but ... missing bitna

Postby josephgmeyer » 30. June 2013 05:26

Hello! I am installing the Moodle platform using 1.8.2 and i'm running into two issues. First it seems I don't have the bitnami platform installed and I need to select a folder that contains the installation of bitnami to save the archives... I've created an account at bitnami.com and I need to know what to download to continue the process. Can someone please tell me?

It states the .ini file is missing. I need to download the bitnami platform from bitnami.com

Hi josephgmeyer,

You just need to specify the path to your XAMPP installation in that dialog

You don't need to register at bitnami or download anything other than XAMPP @ Apachefriends and the Moodle package @ BitNami.

best wishes,
