Problems with the Windows version of XAMPP, questions, comments, and anything related.

I have followed the install procedure for 1.8 and now have a working copy of xampp called 'xamppv1.8' and my old version 'xampp'.
I cant just copy across the www files and dbs, and rename the folders because in my old copy of xampp I have tortoisesvn installed. There doesn't seem to be any way of suspending tortoisesvn's monitoring of my old www folder and so windows wont let me rename/delete the old 'xampp' folder.
What have others done in this situation?
Thanks

I've copied complete subfolders with win commander. This worked on my configuration. Then I renamed the copied folder.
