Apache cannot start with mod_deflate enable

Postby allensph » 25. April 2013 19:15

Ixampp 1.8.1 on Windows Server 2008 SP2

I am trying to use mod_deflate to speed up the website,
but when I turn on mod_deflate and start apache, the xampp control panel become no-response
and don't work anymore.

So I turn the xampp control panel off by click the "x" button (system forcing close)
and look at log/error.txt, but there's no record at all.
How to solve the problem ?
Thank you.

Hello,

You can grab the latest control panel version from the link in my signature.

You can also get specific information by trying to start Apache via the batch file (apache_start.bat).
