Calling specific PHP file crashes apache process

Hi,

we're using XAMPP under Windows7 and are using it to port an application using an ODBC connection against a database which is newly being developed. Generally things are working well but we have an consistent/reproducible issue that when we try to log into our CMS in this setup, the apache process crashes.

Please note that the same procedure/code works against a different database (using the same ODBC driver), so fundamentally it works and is OK.

Question: can we provide any additional information in order to allow you to try and identify the problem and maybe even provide a fix for it in a future version of XAMPP?
