Hello,

1. Did you install XAMPP Lite? (it has the services disabled since it is a portable version)
2. Could you post the entire log window of the Control Panel?

Hi jove,

The sense of a portable version is that you can put it on a portable device to use it on more than one computer.
Windows Services are not portable and need an absolute path for the program to start.

If you want to start XAMPP components with system start and don't need portable functionality, why don't you install the full version?

best wishes,

I'm also missing the xampp lite version which is not portable (functionally for adding a system service).
I don't wanna install all the things like tomcat,Mail, Filezilla, perl etc...just wanna have apache and mysql
Now thats not possible anymore, sadly...

Kind regards

Hello,

It is possible to enable services in the Lite version but I don't know if they will fully work.

You can manually edit the control panel .ini file and change the EnableServices from 0 to 1.
