Long story short: Hard drive went boom. Trashed folders. Recovered files with undelete program. Have outlook mail store files. Can extract individual emails from store files to .eml files.

Question: How would I;
A) Import these files as intact as possible including attachments into Mercury.
B) Configure Mercury to deliver them to mail program when mail program access's Mercury via local intranet using POP interface.

What exactly does Outlook have to do with Mercury?

.eml files are the delivered files - which belong with a client like Outlook or Thunderbird.

Why not just re-install Outlook and re-connect to your mailserver?

Your request does not make sense in my opinion.

Well if you have your .pst or .ost file, just set up Outlook and import it. (if you were on an Exchange Server, you would have had 'offline mode' set). .pst files can be imported into new Outlook profiles, I do it all the time. (that is a MS support topic) There may be a way to import .eml files, but again that has zero to do with XAMPP.

No matter what my opinion, I don't think the idea of using a mailserver is going to work - the e-mails have already been delivered - thus all their header info is invalid for a different environment.

This really is way off-topic for XAMPP, in any fashion.

Good Luck
:)
