I have installed XAMPP for Windows 1.8.1 in Windows 7 64bit.

I want to upgrade to the latest version is php 5.4.13

Can you help me how to only upgrade php to the latest version?

XAMPP is just supported in the bundle it is released. That means upgrading any of the single components is not supported and if you want to do that, you are on your own. Sorry.
