Slow Database [Solved]

I just downloaded the latest version of XAMPP. Before I installed the old version and I don't have any problem.. but when I installed the latest version it seems the query in database seems take a little bit slow especially in select option... Where do i need to adjust in order to resolved the problem?

My case is different... the slow database only occur in select option area... when I edit the record with normal textarea or text it can query database with no problem but if the query include the form with select option then the problem occur. the query delay almost 5 secs before it shows the record. But with same code I didn't encounter this in older version... so I don't know what settings I need to change in order to avoid this

The Database and PHP don't know anything about any webform elements like select fields, check or text fields. They don't separate where the data come from.
Please provide a full code example + database schema with some example data so that anybody can analyse the problem hisself.

Sorry.. your right... I change the bind address to 127.0.0.1 in mysql settings but I forgot to change the connection settings in my script from localhost to 127.0.0.1 it seems the problem has been solved already sorry for the misunderstanding
