Starting Apache and Mysql on reboot

Postby bruceaj » 25. February 2013 04:30

Can XAMPP be configured to automatically start Apache and MySQL on reboot? I have to manually start each time. Some times I forget and get frustrated when localhost doesn't work.

Thank you

Yes

That's what the Service Checkbox in Control Panel does.

Reboot, Start the Control Panel. Don't start Apache or MySQL.

One at a time, Click the Service checkbox for Apache and MySQL.

A dialogue will open and you will be given an opportunity to install them as Services.

Services start automatically on reboot, a user does not need to be logged in even.

Good Luck
