Problems with Xampp. Please help

About a month ago, I decided to uninstall and then re-install my XAMPP because I had lost access to the admin page. I have installed and reinstalled several times, and it's just not starting the Apache for me. It seems to be a problem with the port.. so I changed the ports from 80 to 8080 in the file httpd.conf, and now I get this error. Im not sure what to do. I am hoping someone out there could help me. I really need to be able to run php on my laptop. Thank you in advance.

If you change the port number in the Apache config, you also need to change the port number in the XAMPP Control Panel (Config > Service and Port Settings).

It looks like you need to completely remove the old versions or remove their services first. You can open a command prompt (Start > Run > cmd) and run :
