I state that I have win7 32bit and Xampp version: 1.7.7 portable.
Suddenly apache will not start (until yesterday it worked great), ports are idle (controlled xampp_portcheck) I do not have IIS installed, Skype is not active.
the only thing I can think of is that I installed the latest operating system updates can have an impact?
I just opened the windows event viewer:
reported the following error: >>>

Cannot load C:/Users/Mino/Portable/xampp/apache/modules/mod_mime.so into server: %1 non \xe8 un'applicazione di Win32 valida.
Needless to say that "mod_mime.so" is in its place ... I do not know what to do
