Hi,

I just want to ask the developers of this package to TEST pear please that comes with apachefriends. It is broken, bad config, old packages, there is really no sense in distributing this. Please just test pear on a clean xampp install - you will have many troubles.

Would be great, if you fixed it or did not distribute it at all to avoid damage. Thanks!

I can't speak for the old files but you can use the XAMPP Control Panel to create the XAMPP Shell. It has all the needed local environment variables setup for PEAR and other components.
