localhost connexion endless

Hello to all.
Although I did run over long since I've worked with the real site, I can no longer to launch "localhost" while in XAMPP, Apache and MySql are "running". The attempt to "connect" running endless and the message is "waiting for localhost".
Just this comment: I'm working in french.
Who can help me?
