Images not showing at all !

Hi there.

I am hosting a website with xampp on a VPS.

The website features heavy use of php, css and some html.

There are directories for images, i.e. \icons\icon1.gif

However, these images are just not displaying AT ALL. I went to their direct link and they do not even show up as if they were not even in htdocs whatsoever.


I have no idea what is wrong or how to fix it and after almost 1-2 hours of relentless searching I have had no luck. Hopefully I can have some help here !
