Apache Friends Support Forum

I am running Xampp on Windows XP. I have downloaded 1.8.1. I've read posts for 15 hours straight with no luck setting up my email through sendmail.exe. I've done trial and errors and have uninstalled Xampp too many times to start over with no luck. I am trying to setup gmail for sendmail. Any final suggestions on how to resolve my issue would be great. Otherwise I am going to send an email to my boss and quit my job.

you should probably post what you have now with soem xxx's & yyy' thrown in

BTW - 'free software', 'free support' - a very small crew of unpaid expert volunteers answering questions literally globally...

Whats the email of your boss? (wild guess:) I think he needs a new freelancer and since you are gone i have half an hour a day freetime to fill

If 77K was at stake, perhaps offering some sort of "incentive" for help may have had a promising response. I wouldn't let my job depend on "free" help, but then again, some things people learn the hard way or don't learn at all and loose more than they'll ever gain. To be rude towards those who volunteer their free time helping others is absurd and one rightfully deserves loosing their job for doing so. crazy...
