I use downloaded xampp when i open Xampp control panel apche is running but unable to stop it when i try to stop it it says there is problem

"System error : code 5 Access is denied"

Is it running as a Service and do you have Admin privileges?

Yes this is my personal laptop
and it has 64 bit windows 7
