I've install xxampp on a sbs2003 server I cannot start apache with error ERROR: APACHE SERVICE NOT RUNNING [-1].
Can anyone help please?

where did you install XAMPP?

Hi, I installed it on C: drive

When you first installed - were you able to start XAMPP with the Control Panel as an executable?

If so , were you able to open http://localhost and get to the XAMPP Welcome Page?

Hi I'm running sbs so localhost opens the sbs internal website

heh - well there's an issue

Small Business Server uses IIS which runs on port 80 I expect, so you will need to run Apache on a different port in all likelihood.

What were you planning to do, if I could inquire?

I've sorted it out thnks for your help.
I uninstalled xampp then turned off all iis services reinstalled xampp the moved ports 80 @ 443
(I found a video that show me how to do this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c1m56HZRwuk&feature=related).
I'm now able to network my free epos system
