ZIP/7ZIP downloads fail on unzip

September 2012 20:43I'm having trouble with Mercury repeatedly crashing, so following the advice of some on the Internet, I've tried to download the zipped form of XAMPP so that I could extract the Mercury folder from it and replace the files in my existing XAMPP installation (which works fine otherwise). Actually, to be precise, I've downloaded the plain Zip version of XAMPP 1.8.0 five times and the 7zip version five times. On each of those ten times, I've tried to unzip the file that I downloaded. On each occasion, I have gotten a minimum of 20 CRC errors trying to unzip the file before giving up. Is there any place I can get a clean copy of the file? Or is there some other way to achieve what I'd like to do?
