Xampp root directory

Hi,
I changed xampp root directory from the httpd.conf, I changed
DocumentRoot "C:/xampp/htdocs"
<Directory "C:/xampp/htdocs">
but now I can't access apache admin from control panel.

Thats correct. The XAMPP Administration Page is far away from being full portable relating to different DocumentRoots.
But what is your question now?

I understood that, but the question is why.
My answer is dependend on the reason, because there are different ways to do that.
