mssql.dll not found [Solved]

Hi,

I've just installed Xampp because I'll need to use it to connect to an mssql database. I've been following guides etc online to get the right dlls but I cannot find the extension=php_mssql.dll or extension=php_pdo_mssql.dll in the php.ini file. I tried writing them in myself but I couldn't save it. I also tried downloading ntwdblib.dll but that didn't seem to work either.

I'm a little bit lost on this now, any help would be really appreciated!

You should read them carefully, as you did not specify what version of Windows you are running and that is critical to this issue.

Thank you! I've now moved to the SqlSrv dlls instead.
