[solved]Delete xampp installer.exe after installation

I just wanted to check it is safe to delete the xampp-win32-1.7.4-VC6-installer.exe file after successful installation of xampp1.7.4?

If so, do I simply right click and delete the icon which is on my desktop?

Sure, but why do you install XAMPP 1.7.4?
This version was very buggy.

Well I was wanting to install joomla locally and googled xampp and this version came up.
seems to be working fine though.
I want to have a go at building a joomla template.

The latest version of XAMPP is XAMPP 1.8.0 and can be found here.
But Joomla has some problems with PHP 5.4 so i would recommend to use XAMPP 1.7.7
