PHP not running

After installing xampp 1.7.2 on my 32 bit windows7 os
when i start xampp and make a php script and save it into htdocs and while running from web browser i found following error message displyed.



Object not found!

The requested URL was not found on this server. If you entered the URL manually please check your spelling and try again.

If you think this is a server error, please contact the webmaster.

very common you are not using the correct url.
but without any information from you what you are doing nobody can help you.

Another good place to look is in your \xampp\apache\logs\error.log file
