Hello. I am unable to open the admin control panel for any services (trying to configure mySQL). The service runs correctly, but when browsing to "http://localhost/phpmyadmin/" I get "Oops! Google Chrome could not connect to localhost"
Can anyone suggest why this might be, and what I can do to correct it? Thank you.

I suggest you open a command window and 'Ping localhost' - the response may indicate where the problem lies.
