Hello i am running XAMPP on a win server 2003 64bit and Apache will not start..

folder is on C:\xampp

if you need logs plz let me know and where to find them fo i can give you all the info you need to get this to work or whatever i should do?!

First of all, please be sure that you have already installed the Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 SP1 Redistributable Package (x86), because this is a requirement for the current XAMPP version. Independend of your system it has to be the 2008 and the x86 version of that runtime!

It would be helpful to know the status log messages of your xampp-control-3-beta.exe right from starting it up to trying to start Apache.

The information given in your \xampp\apache\logs\error.log file would be helpful too.

Alright ill give that a shot and see if that will fix it.

I looked in "r \xampp\apache\logs\error.log" but tho is no log files in there!
