Problems with the Windows version of XAMPP, questions, comments, and anything related.

I have the XAMPP MySQL service running but when I click on 'Admin' I am getting a "Unable to Connect error. It also says Firefox can't establish a connection to the server at localhost.
I tried typing http://localhost/. into the browser and I get the same error.
I think this have something to do with my firewall but when I go to change the settings it says the firewall service is not started.
Does anyone have any suggestions?

Yes, an Unable to Connect could mean that the Apache server isn't running. If the apache is running stop the service, as well as mysql, restart them, and try again.
