Apache Service Name Invalid after Xampp reinstall

Hi,

I uninstalled and reinstalled and since then when I try to install apache as a service I get the error msg 2185 'The Service name is Invalid' - has anyone experienced this problem and can maybe offer some advice on how to solve it?
