we Need RELEASE NOTEs for Xammp Windows..!!!!

There really ought to be RELEASE NOTEs for Xammp Windows..!!!!
This exist for Linux n Solaris but not the Xammp Windows. It is apparently impossible to know, for example, which version of sqlite is used in various Xammp Windows. This makes development very risky.
Ideally, XAMPP should follow the same standards that other software use:
Put a complete Release Note inside Every package of Xammp.
And post it online so the public can know, which package they may need.
An example of good LINUX xampp release notes is here:

Thanks.

UPDATE: Hmm.. I found this info in the Readme.txt BUT...
it would still be very helpful to have all these listed on line the way it is for Xammp-Linux or Xammpp-Solaris, that way people can find that package that meets their specific needs. Thanks.

NEW UPDATE: Problem remains... The sqlite versions are NOT listed even in the Readme.txt, so their is no way I can reliably program with this. I will need to try WAMPP or something else, unless I can find reliable confirmation of the component versions. It is Really SHOCKING to me that the Xampp team is hiding this. Is this an oversight? I just can't believe how or why this should be hidden, in an open-source project.

XAMPP has different developers with different standards.
The ex-XAMPP developer Carsten Wiedmann released very detailed release notes for every XAMPP version on sourceforge ( e.g. http://sourceforge.net/projects/xampp/f ... 3.txt/view ).
Since XAMPP 1.7.4 the developer for Windows has changed to Kay Vogelsang who has a different way for release notes.

Solaris and Linux are developed by the same developer Kai 'Oswald' Seidler, so not surprising that the release notes are made the same way.

You are free to use the stack which fits your needs. Maybe XAMPP is not the right stack for you, i don't know. There are always things which can be made better, even for XAMPP.

thanks for the reply. Yes, I've been using Xammp some years, and am used to it, and earlier the component info was all very 'open' and publicly available. But, as you said, it stopped some time ago. Is there any reason the new developer wants to keep things secret? Or is their a way to contact him and ask (politely) that the source component information be publicly disclosed? Thanks gain for any help.
