[solved]drop table tab missing from phpmyadmin

Hi all,
I have successfully loaded xampp 1.7.7. In phpmyadmin , the drop tab is missing . Can anyone tell me how to reinstate it ? I tried using a drop database command but phpmyadmin wont allow this saying drop database statements are disabled.

I'm guessing that was MySQL telling you that.

Feel quite silly really. The drop database command is simply in a different place in phpmyadmin. I had become so used to seeing it as a horizontal tab. Now you find it as an option under the "Databases" tab. Its underneath the list of databases. I did google this problem and no-one appeared to have an answer so that's why I thought I would mention the solution here
