Disable hotlinking?

Hi. I have hotlinking enabled on my "live" site yet, while I have no problems linking to images on my server from my website, on my desktop my site won't allow me use those links (and re-directs the user to disney.com). I looked all over but can't find the settings I need to modify to disable hotlinking protection on my desktop. Anyone have any suggestions? Thanks in advance.
