Hi guys

I have a need for python to be installed on my local xampp install, I found an addon for it at http://sourceforge.net/projects/xamppaddon/. I have had a look at the install_python instructions but it does not explain where I need to install the contents of the downloaded file. Do I install it in a python folder under xampp or do I install them into a corresponding already available folder in xampp or what.

Xampp version in us is 1.7.3
On Windows 7 64-bit

If someone could help me install python please in a not technical way.

I am not absolutely sure that the Python addon dated 2005 is suitable for XAMPP for Windows as some have suggested it was compiled for Linux paths.

Hmm, thanks for the reply, I have been reading up on many of those search results (and continue to do so) but many are simply too technical for me. I am simply wanting to have python installed to work with Xampp, if you know of a 'non techie' and 'simple' way to install it and have it working with xampp then please let me know.
