Install Mod_security for Xampp ? [SOLVED]

I have a modsecurity-apache_2.5.12-win64.zip
i readed guid & install
but after install mod_security
i don't start apache

My xampp info: 1.7.7
Windows 7 (64bit)

please help me...

Much more information required.

Read the \xampp\apache\logs\error.log file for clues why Apache can't start.

Apache in XAMPP is compiled with VC9 x86 not 64 bit if that is what is causing your issue?

Where did you download the zip from so I can check it out?

Is that mod_security a binary?
Where have you found it?

Is it 64Bit? If yes, you have to search for a 32Bit binary, because the Apache in XAMPP 1.7.7 is 32 Bit too.

See my last post re the version you are using - you need VC9 x86 32bit version not a 64 bit version.
Apache in XAMPP is VC9 x86 32 bit.

Download and try this version mod_security-2.6.0-rc1-2.3.11-x86-r2.zip from here:

i think a 64bit binary for windows
but binary for xampp
