I have installed xammp server in my system but apache does vot start.please help me.

Are there any clues in the \xampp\apache\logs\error.log file?

No i have no idea about that. But whenever we try to open localhost browser gives website does not found.

Read the error.log file and it may tell you why Apache can't start.

If Apache can't start then it is no wonder your browser is telling you that the website can't be found, is it? :shock:

Have you tried using the new xampp-control-3-beta.exe control panel found in the xampp installation folder to start Apache?


You will have to start helping us help you by telling us exactly what you have done and what error messages are being presented as we have no idea what you see and what you do.
