How do you upgrade XAMPP from version 1.7.4 to version 1.7.7?

Hi zembron,

@ Windows you have just the one possibility:
Install a fresh version of the new XAMPP version and migrate your configuration, databases and scripts to that version.

Sharley, let me explain: I'm running 1.7.4 NOW on one computer and I'd like to upgrade to 1.7.7 an all my computers to keep up with the technology :wink: . Does it make sense now? Thanks

Yes it does, when you have changed versions simply change your profile setting.

Thanks for your understanding. To be honest when visiting a support forum I'm expecting some help rather than to be told off especially on a forum I'm not familiar with.

Much easier to read the forum announcements as requested and to change your profile also as requested.
