sql running in control panel but fail in status xamp websit

I'm just finish to install xamp on my windows 7. In the Xampp Control Panels says runing, but when i try to work with mysql doesn't run.
In the page http://127.0.0.1/xampp/ section status says Mysql is disable. What can a I do to solve this problem?

What can I do to solve this problem? I'm new on PHP and I don'n know if I'm making any mistake when I install the Program or when I work with Mysql

A. - Which Control Panel are you using? and what does it say when you try to start MySQL???

B. - Have you checked \xampp\mysql\data\mysql_error.log ???
